About CONTEMPLATIONS

From the time I was a young child I was fascinated with photography and loved to write. Through the years I did what I could in both areas, but never had the opportunity to really explore the possibilities. In recent years with my responsibilities lessened, I have been able to work more seriously on what I love.

One day, I had an idea .... why not combine my two passions? I started with a snowflake picture. Positive input from family and friends gave me the confidence to continue expanding my portfolio.

I have been sharing my creations as gifts and selling to family and friends since about 2012. Their encouragement resulted in expansion to the web. This store is my new venture .... my dream .... opening just this Spring, 2015. 

I have always been inspired by nature. There are so many marvelous sights around us if we only take the time to look and truly see. You don't have to travel the world to see them. They are right in your "own backyard" .... where many of my photos originate.

My hope is that what I do might bring joy to others, might lift them up during a rough time or inspire them to look at the wonders around them.
